Here we go ^^
It's been a while since I've last submitted something :D
Definitely not a Christmas or Holiday like wall posting though ^^;;
I've long given up on competing or trying to make the most difficult artwork or showing off super PS skills, it's to
tiring and time consuming! :P and, now, I only concentrate and making things I like, independently from the time or
difficulty. Well, this wall got his *fair* share of layers and hours of work with PS...
I don't know much what to say: this splash page represent the 2 young Syaoran, holding each a feather symbolizing
'Sakura', and both are protectively embracing them with their arms in a foetus position; I believe it represent to the
perfection the most powerful feeling in them both: to protect Sakura, maybe also their soft feelings toward all the
people they care for somehow.
This wall give me a very peaceful feeling, which contrast quite a bit with the latest extreme events we've been
confronted with in the latest chapters...
I quite like the ghostly appearance I gave them, with very pale skin. Also black Syaoran is facing the darkest depth,
while white Syaoran is facing the surface: while one is ascending to the light, the other is falling deeper down...
They are both inside a Dream World, which has a fake sea like appearance. I was inspired from X-Clamp, in which some
characters were swallowed in those kind of mysterious depths...you can see that the surface is troubled and twisted and
that both Syaoran are like 'melting' in this dream world.
I hope you can feel this peacefulness and review +fav if you're pleased by my work!

where did you get the scan? is it vectored? did you paint the bg?

HI! I if I understood what you wanted to transmit with your work… but I believe that you need something more, seems to me a little emptiness wall.
As well as I wanted to give a water effect him to wallpaper, I believe that your also you wanted to give an effect him like water to the bottom of wallpaper… but that texture because does not fit well, you could have looked for other that fits far better.
I like your work with the vectors, sees itself well worked.

Woah, I really like this~ the falling into water feeling is so cold and deep and dramatic, but the glowing feathers seem to keep them warm, somehow... >_<
