HAPPY EARLY BIRTHDAY AND MERRY CHRISTMAS KiyanaIkebana

I know your birthday is on the 17th this month but I submit it now because I am afraid to just forget it otherwise. I choosed a Pretty Cure wallpaper for you. I hope you like it. Why Pretty Cure? Well Pretty Cure got 8.25 points from you and I am kinda sure you won't get another PC wallpaper. I hope I am right =D

After I decide what anime the wallpaper is from I browsed through the PC gallery I was kinda disapointed because most of the scans are so "magical" and I suck at making magical girls wallpaper. However I finally found the Futari wa Pretty Cure: Pretty Cure Girls scan and took it. First i have to adjust the colors because the scna is kinda "white-ish". I used several other scans as a color reference but i am still not sure if I choosed the right one.

The girls were very easy but the background was hell again. I really cannot improve my painting skills. anyways used a lot of brushes from various sites but I just can remember these two: LINK ONE and LINK TWO. Thanks a lot for the nice brushes!

First I just wanted to "copy" the image but I was a bit bored and my day scene looked weird. So I tried a sunset scene but I wasn't satiesfied and I end up making a night scene. Still not satiesfied but it looks okay. At least I hope. I even remembered to make reflections on the river but I am not sure if they are right or not. I wanted to add some flowing petals but they looked kinda strange, like always..

The title of this wallpaper is from this wonderful song "a wish for the stars" from the Blassreiter second ending song. I first reconized this song when i listened to Kitten's music box. The song helped me to create this night scene.

Something else? Well just I hope you like your brithday and christmas gift =D I hope you will have a nice birthday/christmas and that you will get a lot of presents.
