One day I will get back to doing vectors... One day. Bah. And why do we not have a Samurai Warriors category here? Inconceivable :x
The name of the wallpaper came from a tv show by the same name. This is actually a smaller resolution than I have been making, so i hope no one is too upset about that. The style of the original scan is very grungy (I found it on another site, but to get an idea of what I mean look at the Dynasty Warriors artwork here, it's by the same people). I used various textures to get the right grungy feel without being suffocating. There was a moon in the original scan, so I added one back in and placed it at the same angle as the original one to keep a consistent light source. The Japanese castle was added in to make it look like the girl has been looking down towards it and plotting to steal from it (thats the kind of thing I've always thought about for this image). I've been making several reddish wallpapers lately, so I'll try to make the next one a different hue ^_^'
