As soon as I saw this
image I knew I had to vector it! I have more 2 Kobato vectors to finish (oneyearold*cough*) but this one was so
beautiful I didn't resist. One of those Kobato vectors was supposed to be your b-day present last year but I never
managed to finish so I though that, this time, I'd finish this one for sure!
And voila! I love vectoring b&w pages~
I tried my best not to make thin lines, I used them on the hair instead.
And let me say this very clearly, because I almost died doing all those details. None of that is copy&paste (it
would have been much easier though)! I vectored each one of those things on her veil! It was annoying! Not hard,
annoying! ugh! (I was going to cheat at first, coloring then using stroke, but it looked so ugly and fake lol).
It took me most of the time to outline, then color those things. And I still don't really like how they turned out.
So, outlined the whole thing. Reconstructions here and there, and there was a time when I was a bit confused with all
the eyelashes she had, but I ended up adding even more in the end ^_^' I left some lines visible when they weren't
supposed to be, just to give it another taste.
Said goodbye to the original image, and started coloring. That was so fun! Specially the hair~ :D
I used brushes and a bit of smudge for her face, blurred the coloring on her veil and played with gradients, used burn
and dodge tools for the flower like details on her shirt, and I don't know how I did her eyes, really. I liked how it
turned out though. A bit different than what I usually do, so I left them like that.
The title comes from one of the chapters. I really had no idea what to name this one!
And I wonder what do you think of the color choices. That's one of the things I like most, picking colors~ (and
hopefully they're not bright like my last two works)
Sorry if some of you don't like the frame like thing I added, but as you'll see ahead, the vector is one of the smallest I have done in size, besides, I didn't have much space to add the signature and all the stuff I usually add.

I`m glad you didn`t copy and paste. I thought I was the only one who would take the long way out. I think your outlines are a bit thicker now.
All the details are just so beautiful. I`m just staring at them in awe *_*
The colors are just lovely though I think the skin could be a bit more bright and tan since it`s a bit pale now.

Wow! I love Kobato so much and this vector portrays her perfectly! Plus, the hair color is always so tough to portray on her because in some pictures it is pink/mauve and in others it is light brown, but you handled it really well! ^.^ *fave*
