I was thinking the same thing myself - Amano-ish. I think that Link has much more detail than Zelda. Her dress is a little plain - only compared to him, but... I like it just the same. ^^ I think I like the way her face is compared to his. I can't exactly put my finger on it, but its the way her face is drawn (facial features, nose, expression) I think. Link looks alomst sad and angry. ^_^' Anyways, thanks for sharing it.

Trying out Amano style again... sorry for bad quality...
Doodling on yellow paper with 0.5mm 2B mechanical pencil. Thought it looked pretty cool so I cleaned/detailed it some more, then scanned and edited it in Photoshop. But I got too lazy to color it with the mouse, so I imported the lineart into Colors! and colored it on my DS. Then, on the computer, I used the Colors!Draw java applet to repaint the drawing at a larger size, then slapped the original lineart on top of that...
I don't really like this much, but I haven't submitted anything here in such a long time...
I also prefer thicker leads, but .5 is good for details... even though you can't see it because my scanner
sucks.
on another note, I have CS3 now. Woo!
pencil, paper, colors!DS, colors!Draw, PsCS3, 2 hours?

Wow. It really does look Amano-ish. I couldn't see that in the thumb on the main page, but I immediately thought it was yours XD
I like it, actually, and I don't see why you don't like it. Although I do agree with yothsothgoth, Zelda's dress is a bit plain. You could have done some motifs or something. Although that can be a pain in the ass to do XD
It's still good this way, though, I like it!

I do have one slight problem with this, now that I take another look; Link is brown-haired here, instead of blond. WHY?! XD
