For: Saku
I'm finally finished playing with this project and man
am I glad it's over. Took me a total of 3 days to complete, with the
additional fixing and such.
This couple gave me such a headache, I outlined them
but then I had so many position problems and since I used no
reference I was like loosing my mind to make it all look passable.
Once I was done I got into coloring and that wasn't as hard as the outline
though I ran into trouble with the blending since the outline
was too light and I was using dark colors...
After finishing the vector and getting all the corrections made,
I started on the bg and at first I was going to do something really
simple like just a plain gradient and some effects.
After talking to Maple she gave me a great idea to make a snow
scene since she thought the girl was lying down when she's actually falling
but it ended up being a perfect match.
So I painted the snow, painted the blood around her,
used Chloe-chan's sparkle brushes for snow and gave it a glow
effect for a more dramatic scene. Also I added textures and vectored
a rose with some petals to place around the wall and then one big one
in front of the title.
I had a basic color, brown and white-grey but then decided
to give it a sunset glow since I thought it would be more tragic and
more sad since for whatever reasons things are sadder in a sunset lighting.
Characters were made in 2 days, colored
on the last. No reference and hella hard to do >.>
and yay, I got to use blood for a good cause~
Characters names are: Girl - Elda and Boy - Roy

Anywho, I really love this. The characters are awesome. The vectoring is supper neat and I love their outfits! You worked hard, and it shows!

Anyways this is another amazing work of art from you. The girl's expression is probably the highlight of the wall. But
the snow really gets me. I just adore snow and I'm so glad you made this a snowy wall. The white petals are a cool
concept and add depth at the same time. And of course the title is win. Wah, I don't even know how to tell you what
awesome skills you have XD

You know I love your Original Walls like crazy, so I'll cut back on the fanboy-ness.
Anyway, the composition is wonderful, yet very sad. But there's beauty in this particular sadness that is quite
alluring. You really know how to captivate the viewer with such an emotional picture (oops, going into fanboy mode).
What amazes me, apart from the spectacular wallpaper, is that you can finish such a masterpiece in so short of an amount
of time. I mean, WOW, you finished this whole wallpaper in 3 days. Wish I could finish what I'm working on in 3 days,
hehe, without it's quality degrading to the point of being crappy.
Anyway, amazing work as always, dear Kitten. This fanboy shall be waiting for more originals. :D
