i know i hate the title too but if i plan to do more xxxholic i cant just name them all xxxholic. anyways i'm not sure how much i like the coloring because its very victorian, and not very clamp which is baroque but distinctly japanese--so sorry for not being true to scan. i know this also sounds crazy, but i wish i chose a scan featuring insane yuuko hair.
and i hope the wallpaper version is coming soon like later tonight or tomorrow (the curtain is taking forever), but the smoke cloud (which you can see some of in the background) was the most painful thing i have ever done in my life. i mean the outlining was gay but COLORING was such a pain in the ass, so you will definitely see it more pronounced in the wallpaper version since it took so much effing effort. but i did want to post the vector because once everything gets shrunk you can't appreciate the colored outlines which are, i have to say, one of the most annoying techniques ever. i mean background colored outlines are a different story but intertwining so many colored lines takes forever.
anyways i was gonna go with the original color scheme but after i colored it it just looked strange and then with the new colors it just seemed to need some victorian patterns so i patterned just the shadows so it could still hold onto the clean vector quality.
i do have to say after finishing this that i prefer the look/feel and execution of painted shadows better. i feel like it just takes much less time than these precise shadows and looks so much better. not that i'm a good painter because i'm actually kind of horrible.

and i have like.. almost no credits because i guess i downloaded too much without submitting anything for a while T_T and i'm finally starting to get charged for submissions >_<

Wow, Yuuko is like a spider lady with those long arms...never
cared for her design. But I like the outfits and I love the use of
texture you but in between the clothes. The colors are lighter though,

and well done on her hat,that thing looks damn complicated...
only,there's a light blue glow on the lover part of the butterfly,and that part looks kinda blurred...maybe that's just my crazy monitor's brightness or something...

Wow! You did it again! I looove it! It is wonderful! Let's see! I like the warm colours of their clothes, the hat, the dress, the handkerchief in the boy's pocket (and not only) as the details are very accurate. The textures are well used. Xxxoholic is a very original anime with a detailed design and strong features (it's a hard job vectoring such a complex subject). But you did it again! Congratulations! It's another fav! ;-)

lol. I know that problem about how you get charged for submitting things. It usually is the other way around...
I`ve never really been that big of a texture/pattern fan but I love how you used it.
I also love those soft colored lines. Although I do think the colored line for the umbrella stick is too bright.
Oh gosh, that huge butterfly is love. And those roses are awesome. I just love roses in general. *squeal*
And yeah, your colors are getting a bit lighter. :]
