Brief Description
This was MEANT to be an entry for dark wallies. But when I finished this I decided not to add effect to make it horror...laziness.
Isn't the art from Touhou just beautiful?
So Basicly I sketched out the lines (vector takes too long) and then painted the skin, tie, hair, background. Then I decided to vector the rest (dress, petals). I would say that the painting's no where close to good. I think I'll find some tutorials for that later...When I was almost done the wall, I keep on thinking that I should've just vectored the whole thing. so I might do that sometime later in the future or maybe not. I'll see how bored I am.

maybe this could have been an entry for the contest if the water was bloody, but this way...nah...
I still love it,though, the hand-drawn lines effect (or not?) and the colors ;) -
Ohh the dress is just lovely!.Like Chris-chan says,if the water was bloody instead,it would have been a nice entry for the contest.Amazing job on this wall though! ;)
-
love the sketchy outline effect you did here
-
Yeah, Touhou art is really beautiful
Like Christa-san said, this one could have been an entry for the contest if the water was bloodness ^_^
By the way, I love it in this way too ^_^
Nice job ^o^ -
this is absolutely gorgeous. it makes me think that having a tablet is totally worthwhile!
i adore the sketchy, soft lines and the shadows on the dress are well executed, and i think the painting on the skin matches the dress so its not too bad. the only places where i do think you should have paid more attention are the arms/hands because the lines get kinda rough (i am saying the same as margalet so i dont even know why i'm making this comment T_T)
but this must have taken so long!

Man, commenting on 2 wallpapers today, something's off really.
Right anyways, really enjoy the paint feel this has and opposed to what Margalet says I quite like the sketchy lineart. Dunno, the combination seems to give it a lot of soul, it feels real and transmits a rawness you rarely get in digital art. It's just fun to watch stuff that's not all CG flawlessness and precision.
I'm not 100% in love with the borders tho, but this sure rocks.

awesome submission! :3 *favs* XD

Such a masterpiece.....very well done dood.
Touhou all the way.
Awesomeness right here. -
love the sketchy line art *_* it goes perfectly with the painting and with her vectored dress too~
Yup, I'm really really liking the vector+painting work (how many people have said this already lol XD)
the only thing I'd have to point out is one line in her right arm. Guess it's too "sketchy" and it makes her arm look a bit weird.
oh the petals are lovely :3

This definetly has gothic writen all over it! I *really* like how soft the details are. It gives off the mystery allure beautifully! You did a wonderful job! :) Thanks for sharing! :D

Amazing! Is this handdrawn/painted on or was it done on PC? Either way, it's brilliant if nothing else.
