Ok here I go,
It is my first time make a wallpaper. I have zero experience of making one. I have absolutely no idea how to make one.
Okay, about this wallpaper, After I watched Kaleido Star for like 50th times. I decided to make a one on a whim. Actually not just on a whim, when I saw this image http://img510.imageshack.us/my.php?image=vlcsnap543719xc0.png somewhere in epi 48-50 and I wanted to vector it. So I screencapped it then vector it but I get this unsatisfied feeling. So I ended up made a wallpaper out of it on a whim. I don't really have any planned ideas for making wallpaper but Kaleido Star itself is an inspire. Leon and Sora is such cute couple and I don't see any single one Leon Oswald wallpaper around here *gasp*
I used Adobe CS2 for everything. I used a pen tool lot. I got some brush from http://www.desktopanime.com/wallpapers.php It took me 5-7 hours to complete it. Most of time I was experimenting around with filter/brush/blending options see what they can do. Mess around a little, I guess. :pacman:

Oh my god! This is so adorable! >.< And like you said... there's no Leon wall here! The horror! Leon deserves more love!
Anyways, since this is your first wall, I'd say you did pretty well. The background, you might want to lessen the stars. Instead, make it more at random places.. and left some spot empty.. or use much smaller brushes. That'll make it more realistic. But yeah.. since the character is a chibi, this is fine. And as for the vector job, you did well for that too. Leon and Sora look absolutely cute! >.< -
