Interesting original work. I love the sense of surrealism here and the background and composition create a kind of imaginary realm. I'd prefer if the foreground was painted abit, but I guess neat vector is what you wanted it to be. Nice work anyway. :)

I have finally done it! That's right, I've finally submitted an entirely original creation! All that's left to do is to take over the world! Mwahahahaha :angry:
This wallpaper is for my special amigo, Pande. I hope you like it (and I pray that I didn't use any colors that you dislike OX)
I drew this drawing about two and a half years ago. Why I drew it.... well, I can't remember why or what I was
thinking when I did draw it. Though I gotta admit, it is quite surreal.
So I scanned the original drawing (which was done in pen, and had a similar layout structure) and vectored it. At first,
I used some pretty funky colors that, quite frankly, looked completely awful together. So I ultimately decided on the
color scheme that you see before you.
The background was made in a similar fashion as my last wallpaper - that is, I heavily modified a photograph of a
deep-space nebula. On top of that, I blended in a photograph of the coolest clock I've ever seen. On top of that
background layer, I used the modified nebula pictures and distorted it in a curvy way (intentionally keeping the hard
edges), and did the same with a duplicated layer of the clock.
I then texturized the whole image with one of those paper textures found at bashcorpo (those are some pretty good
textures :o).
The title kind of references the concept album Ziltoid the Omniscient by Devin
Townsend. In the album, there is an alien named Ziltoid, who hales from the 4th dimension, coming to our lowly 3rd
dimension to find the greatest cup of coffee.
Because I like Devin Townsend a lot, and the image looks like it can be in a different dimension, I borrowed the whole
4th dimension theme.
I added the Autumn part because of the color scheme I used (and if you look at the tree, it has an orange leaf). Also,
it is becoming autumn in my part of the world. In a few weeks, it will officially be autumn (even though it feels like
summer still).
This work isn't really inspired by music per se, but I was listen to a lot of Heavy/Progressive Metal while working on it. I don't know if it had any effect on the outcome of the wallpaper or not....

T_T Thank you! *glomps* Really, I expected this to be anyone's but yours, it's so different from your style! I haven't seen any of your drawings though, so I don't really know your drawing style ^_^' But I love it! At first I thought it was the entry for the Halloween contest that hasn't been announced yet (XD), since it's so exquisitely creepy :3
Don't worry, the color's scheme's just right :) The despair that seems to come from it is the best :D
You bet I'm enjoying it! And it's kinda cute, in a strange, twisted kind of way :D

ok here starts my spamming of many of your walls.
i think this is AMAZING original work, and the thumbnail is horrid (sometimes i wish we were allowed to upload our own thumbnails but that would take so much regulation)
i KINDA wish you did some outlines of the background, just to add to the black outlines you already have. at the same time i think the outlines would give it a different effect so maybe not.
but other than that i cant find anything i would change!
