Oh my gosh, this is one of the most gorgeous vectors I've seen in a long time! It's just perfect. I want to
stare it at all day *o* The outlines are amazing, straight, neat, perfect thickness, flawless, all of it.
The colours are amazing! The golden hair, shaded skin and baby blue dress all go together perfectly. (I have a feeling
I'm going to be using the word "perfect" a lot with you XD)
And OMG you are crazy to have even attempted that hair. And you actually went through with it. And finished it. And it
looks (again) perfect. Flawless. And complicated. I'm cringing at just the thought of vectoring it.
Her eyes seem a bit over blurred, but then when I think of Air's style I realise they do the same thing, so I
can't fault you for being able to copy the original exactly :P
The background. I can't comment much on it :o My monitor has a big problem displaying whites and bright colours
properly, so I mostly see white. I can kinda see the clouds though and they look pretty good, especially for a beginner
who's using a mouse. And this is a thousand times better than a normal gradient background. I'm imagining it
with one and it just ruins the scene.
And lastly, the concept of Everlasting fits perfectly with Misuzu (and makes me sad ;_;) Congrats on finishing Air by
the way, I cry everytime I watch the ending u_u
Overall I think you know what I think of this vector :P I know I sing your praises a lot but I can't help it, when
I see a vector work as well done and flawless as this one. I'm really excited to see what you to do next!
Artist Comment
When I heard "Everlasting" by BoA (Korean version, but I think the Japanese is the same), this was my favorite
line:
"If I send greetings for you journey, I can smile prettiest for you."
Journey just immediately made me think of AIR and so I clicked my way into the AIR section. I`ve always wanted to vector
AIR since I just finished it recently (I know, I`m slow :sweat: ). I fell in love with this scan and it fits my favorite
line in BoA`s song. Atleast I think so...
This vector took me atleast two or three grueling weeks. The hair... I can`t begin to describe the horror. It would be
nice to vector it if I wasn`t so caught up in homework. I felt like it took a year to vector that hair.
The background. I was sick of just using color fill and gradient for the background so I decided to take a bunch of
tutorials and started to paint. I know, the background is a complete mess. Cloud is too puffy and crowded. The water
doesn`t even look like water. The sun... is that even a sun? I`m pretty untalented when it comes to the background.
In case your wondering, it was just me and my mousey painting this scan. Were in this together right, mousey? =D Maybe I
can get a tablet one day ...
So go ahead and critique away on anything especially the background.

Great one, when I logged in and saw it
on the gallery I knew it had to be done by you.
The long hair was a dead give away since I remembered
you saw you loved it in the wind and out.The lines are great, bold, neat, straight
and just nicely done overall.I've always wanted to do an AIR image
but well...I'm not that bold. And believe it or not
a Da Capo scan can frustrate me so I don't even
think I'd be ready to handle it.The Background I must say does nothing more
me, the clouds are too crowded together and blurred
for me to even give that much attention.But the sunlight hitting her it nicely done
and I love how it touches and effects the hair.
Most people can't do it properly and you've managed
to do it very nicely.As Hikari mentioned, the eyes seen over blurred
but also captures the AIR look, I wouldn't have done such
a thing because it wouldn't have came into my mind. But it looks great
and everytime I picture AIR I think of those blurry sad eyes
from her.Geez, we both wrote a novel for you...anyways great vector
and it's a clear fav. I love when I can look at a vectored image
and see the hard work jump out. -

Wow, what a sharp vector! Honestly, it's worth all that time, the result is more than good!
Only thing I don't like is the eyes, I've never liked that style of doing eyes (the studio's). But you made them well, they look like the original ones. Good job!

Another great vector from you! And I love it! Trust me, I know the pain of vectoring Misuzu hair! (And twice the horror too!) >.< But you did a great job, anyway! Yay! And yeah, just like Ash-chan said, you overdid the blurring on her eyes. I think it'll look better if less, esp on her blue eyes. Anyways, a favorite from me!

Mizusu's hair is a pain to vector! But you did great! Amazing vector!
And I understand how it is to paint with a mouse *is the same way*
I'm happy that you decided to paint the bg instead of using a gradient. (I never have good ideas for bgs so I use gradients >.< )
Hmm...maybe you shouldn't have put that much clouds, it kinda looks like it's cloudy rather than sunny.
