FULL VIEW PLEASE. ANOTHER WALL MADE WITH A BATCH OF HOME-MADE TEXTURES!
Well, this was a fun wallpaper to work on. So I was going through moe.imouto.org when I came across this image (it can also be found here). It was instant win in my opinion. I just loved her facial expression!
With the wallpaper, I wanted to do one similar to my last one, only darker, and I felt like this picture was perfect for it (it already had a bunch of black). Vectored it using some more of my home-made textures (save for the skin, which is using the bascorpo textures I used last time). I wanted something... mystical for the background. Lately, I've been really into outer space, and I find Nebulae the most beautiful objects ever. So i found a really pretty purple one to work with. I played around with it and altered the color to match the predominate green I was going for. Actually turned out how I planned for once. XD
The words floating around are confusing, and I meant it to be. There are lines from the first and second verse of the song "Benighted" by Opeth. Now, you're probably asking how I can possibly call them words. Well, take a closer look. I flipped them, as if you were looking at writing on a window from within the building! I then blurred them, then sharpened them, then blurred them again.
Here are the actual lyrics for you to look at, just if you're having trouble (NOTE: I used all of the lines from the first verse, then used some of the lines in the second verse):

I'm beginning to see a pattern here, your style's so abstract! Yeah, I finally realized it ^_^'
The vector looks really sharp and clean and for some reason I love her bangs. I want bangs like that. And the flowers in the back! I hate vectoring flowers and mine always turn out crappy, so I have respect for your green flowers :D
+fav, even though a widescreen version would be more than welcome; keep it up! :) -

You're really picking great scans lately. :)
I really like your vector it looks smooth and clean only the lines on her breast look like you used to many anchor points (still nothing compared to my messy outlines XD).
The colours you chose are a great change from the original I like her blue lips especially and I love the textures you made. The words you put in the background blend in really well so I haven't got much else to complain about but one thing: I think I'd like it better if you had kept the shading on her torso and hands, it's ok that you left her face mostly blank but I'd really like some shading on the rest of her. Otherwise great work, keep it up. -
