Exquisite as always laverinne! Your inspiration for this piece makes me think of "The Cat Returns" and what Baron would look like as a human. ;) I love the shading of his clothes... but what really intrigues me is what you did to create that texture in the middle of the piece. It almost looks like a wadded up piece of tissue paper or something... Excellent work!

Cheer for Cats! Meow! ^^ OK that was weird, let's start over..
Elegance and a curious use of textures makes for a great piece! You left quite a bit of white space, unusual for you but you made it up with the richness of what is not white!
I like your character, he's got a different look from your girls, but we all can still tell it's a 'Laverinne' with one look. Such lovely locks of dove-gray hair.. Piercing blue eyes.. Smooth, flawless skin..Affable lips..Elegant style.. Oh yes, this is a bishounen who will have the girls swooning all right! I totally agree with Firefly, he reminds me of the Baron from Cat Returns.
I like how soft his clothes are, they look snuggable.. :D Me wanna top hat like his! I always like your 'fashion sense', laverinne.. Hey, does this guy have anything to do with the violinist you painted last time? Would be great to have the stories developed..
Looks like you're using slightly different patterns now! Good for you, it adds a new touch. I love the whipping coattails, it's so dramatic. I'm guessing the texture is made of torn pieces of tissue?
laverinne, laverinne.. what can I say? You've really got the talent. You're a master with watercolours, your stories sound brilliant; if you compile all of this, you could make a beautiful artbook, you know? I volunteer to write the captions! XD

Hum, great coloring, and his clothes are amazing. Your watercolor mastery is amazing, but once again, i don't see any link between the background and the character... Oh well, a nice drawing whatsoever, so keep it up :D
