This project took me a week to complete, so many distractions
and if you don't turn off the t.v there's always something on ^^;
Well for the theme I wanted an agony kinda save me theme,
I wanted the image to show a girl who's being punished for her sins
but realizing it too late to the point where she's begging for someone to help
her. I didn't want to over do the emotion because I wanted to give the
sense that she's accepting it but silently asking for forgiveness.
Vector took me three days...I spaced out and lost track of it ._.
then I kept getting distracted and also we had a hurricane last week
(Fay) she was pretty bad and I kept loosing power so me and the com
cried for some days while we waiting out the storm.
I picked red since I think thats one of the most emotional
colors when I think of sadness or pain red comes to mind, mostly
since I use blood to show pain on them I thought red might really put out
the emotional. I went through a lot of color changes and I thought blue/teal
might look nice but then decided red was the right choice.
The black strings since I can already guess thats what you all
thought they were ^^; Their threads, I didn't want them too small
or big but just enough of both to balance it out and give it depth where it should
be. They're there to give the feeling of being chained or taken from life,
as you can see she looks like she's being pulled down or rather falling under them.
The other girl you see above her in the back is her "better soul"
shall we say, since I believe everyone has good and bad in them.
Effects and painted dust were added to give a more
emotional look, the brushes I used are from Axeraider from Deviant.
The texture is from Hybrid Genesis

This a very emotive wallpaper.
I love it how the details won't stop and beautifully continue from the golden shadows around her to the black lines and sparkle.
A really interesting composition, too bad I don't remember my dreams & if I do I can't wall them since hentai is against the policy XD -

OMG! I can totally feel the despair and loneliness from just the expression on the girl alone! Excellent work in your drawing! The emotions are conveyed really well! The bakground is wonderfully done! Good choice in colours! Red is definately a good colour to show pain. The threads are well done, they don't overpower the character. Beautiful work. Kitten!

The composition is stunning, Kitten. What you wanted to be conveyed "Save me" and silent acceptance really comes through. I personally love how her hair and the background seemingly melt together in a beautiful chocolate-brick color. Her expression and body language, too, are very strong in this wallpaper.
Definately a favorite! (Remind me to make something for you some day for creating such beautiful works).

Waa, so cool~ when I first opened it I didn't pay much of attention, but when I looked at the thumbnail I immediatly went to see the category, and when I read "oringinal" I thought "it can't be... only kitten would make something like this"... I should try looking at the artist name first next time~ XD XD

interesting, you really get the shadings (wrinkles) down whne it comes to you and your drawings. It looks a little messy with the whole spirals and circles everywhere, but pretty much the concept can be seen well here. Well done Kit! ^^

detailed, though u lack color balance....no matter how many times i look at it my eyes are drawn to the only black object in the wall rather than the amazing detail u applied to the rest of her.. overall i like it though, gj
