Season Colour ~ Summer Stone

She is a summer goddes, who only awake in summer. she make the flower have their fruits and she have beautiful green stone in all of her dress.

Also, at first a peacock is a bad and ugly birds. When summer end and she's sleeping, they stole her green stone and put it in their own body, so they become the most beautiful bird. But, before the summer come, they must give back what they take. And It's why on summer a peacock looks bad and ugly..><.

huehuhe..i hope the story is not weird, the fact that a peacock moulting in summer.heuhue..><.

Hope u like it.^^

Very nicely done. The attention to even the smallest details is very impressive. The fact that each individual stroke looks to have a very unique purpose is really awesome. Everything is so intricately done and really clean. Just check out the feathers...or the lace... they're both really amazingly done.

I think you did a supurb job! Its such a pretty piece. ^^
Thank you for sharing it with us. :D +fav

Very cute story... you should write a picture book! XD Love your departure from the usual red/pink color scheme. The teal/blue/gold is very regal and thus pairs nicely with the peacock. ;) Keep up the great work dear! :D

Here's a good example that thumbnails can kill. Because the full-view took me by surprise! It's way more gorgeous than I thought!

I can see your trademark patterns; you always love to use those curvy, weaving, tendril-like patterns and lace, don't you? And the crystalline glass as well.. I love your beautiful style, anyhow, and I bet I'm not the only one. ^_^

You've done this piece in a spectrum of wonderful shades of teal, gold, Prussian blue, jazzy brown, cream and deep green. One definitely can tell that this has to do with peacocks at one glance. Even if that elegant bird wasn't perched on her hand. I love all those jade jewelery dangling from her elaborate dress and headdress; she looks like royalty. Well, she is a goddess after all.. ;) And oh gosh, the scale-like pieces hemming her dress are so reminiscent of peacocks; are you sure she's not the ruler of peacocks? And she's got the pinkish eye-shadow and double eyelids again... another signature touch of yours. I love her eyelashes..

I really can't run out of good things to say about your work.. They always astound me. You must be a professional artist or designer in real life; it's a great pity if you're not! I like your story, it has that rustic, before-the-fairy-tales feel. Sort of like the Anansi Spider stories..

I've noticed that lately your style in painting has seem to change a little. It looks like you've layered the paint more thickly for the backgrounds than you did previously. I kind of like it.. adds a different sort of depth and texture..

One snag that's hardly noticeable; I can still see the pencil marks of your sketch for the weave-pattern at the top left. But it's no big deal, really. And I hope I get an answer this time; you are using goauche and masking fluid right? And drybrushing.. Do you use stencils or anything like that when it comes to certain patterns?

All right, that should be it. Thanks very much for sharing this amazing piece!
