I dedicate this to the people at
especially to:
Aozoraskies: for being so friendly and not to mention a fellow book fan
Temarigenius who love Spirited Away soundtrack too. Here's a pic to go with the
song
Main inspiration is the song Inochi no Namae the soundtrack for Spirited Away by
Joe Hisaishi. It's the perfect song to put me in a nostalgic mood.
Listen to it here:

Oh and be sure to check out
because it sounds fun!

Vectoring the sketchy outlines took forever because I'm lazy and because I don't
have as much spare time as I used to. Lesse, it's been... 3 months since my last
wall O_o
Anyway, at some point, I realize I should've trace it manually with pen and
tracing paper.
The coloring is fun and only took 2 days. It's not exactly neat because I wanted
it to look like it's manually colored :p
Um I realize this didn't make a good wallpaper. It's kind of full and not icon
friendly. So just think of it an image

Spirited Away is the best, and you have brought the best kind of justice to it.
I love the hand-drawn feeling of it - really lovely.
Your main inspiration was a song? Then perhaps you'd be interested in joining
Great wallpaper, gabychan. I've come to link quality with your name - your walls are always so perfectly executed.
Thanks to you, I got to hear the awesome song! And now I get to enjoy the song while looking at this wallpaper
Of course
this one is not an exception~
And
Chihiro's Mother looks so cute
Hey! Why are your wallpapers all so good?
The full view is really different from the icon!
I don't really know what to say other than it's really great!
And it's dedicated to me?
Thanks!
I'll stare at it every time I listen to the song
will become more active!
And I hope with this wallpaper,
Oh yea~ Remember to recommend more awesome Ghibli OST~
I favved this on AnimePaper, and I'll fav this here!
Ah! Ghibli! How's Miyazaki?
It's realy nice, I like the sketchy look and colouring.
).
For some reason her mother's face scares me alittle though (not that it's your fault
Great job.
Sugoi wallpaper!
I found the thumbnail really interesting and it happens that the wallpaper was thousands of times better!
Congratulations!
It looks awesome! Unique! And I agree with dslassey:I love the hand-drawn feeling of it!
+ fav! Keep up with the good work!
Ja ne...
This look nice
Thanks for sharing!
Wow, the first wall that was ever dedicated to me!
Thank
you!
I like how abstract it looks, with the cluttered rooftops, worn walls, and the red lanterns hanging.. There is a sort of windy feel to it, the way the lines were drawn and the wispy style of painting.. Kind of reminds me of the good old style Chinatown used to be painted years ago cum a little Italian Impressionist touch.. Don't know if I'm getting it right.
I
do love how rugged the roofs look though.
It
definitely has that sort of whimsical yet homely feel of Miyazaki's, even if it
doesn't look like his art style..
Sorry if my comment is a little off, I'm flipping through the galleries, watching Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo and reading D Gray Man at the same time.. LOL. But nonethe less, this wall is great!
I do so love your style... It's reminds me so much of the feeling I get from Miyazaki's films.. Fave I shall...
Oh chihiros reise ins zauberland :3 yeah i see this movie and i like this wallpaper :3 ^^
go to fav ^^
though i have only watch Spirited Away (which gave me infatuation towards Sen
),
Miyazaki's animation has always fascinated me with his distinctive styles. this
wallapaper sends nostalgic dreams of m hometown. it's so attentive to see this
wallie from such perspective
perhaps
you have grasp Miyazaki's style as well
I gotta admit this is interesting. I mean kind of liek a Carlie Brown style with the outlines.
Well anyways really nice job! ^^
It's so rare to have a wall from Ghibli. Really nice wall, and great work on the sketchy look. Coloring is really good as well
Thumbs up and fav
PS ah, makes me want to watch sen to chihiro again !
