The inspiration for this wallpaper was the song "How Come You Don't Call Me" by Alicia Keys, I know the original is by Prince but I only now that one version. Fortunatley this wall also gave me the chance to use some Chaiko art and play around with some new patterns. It was indeed fun to make this. (Pattern rage was long overdue XD)
I vectored the scan and changed the colours a lot, I thought the original colours were too cold and wouldn't fit with Soul music. Talking about colours this wallpaper is somehow unusally colourful for me I think, or maybe it's my imagination. I'm also very happy that I finally got the chance to use all my new flower print patterns, I adore them.
The scan is from MT, uploaded by Morphee. Thanks so much for sharing these Morphee, I fell in
love with this artist.
Pattern and textures are from: CG Textures, Bashcorpo, Hybrid Genesis, DA!, Appendix Squared and Dioma@Deviantart.

The widescreen version cropped a little differently from the other two.

What can I say about your work? It's as lovely as usual. I really adore your use of earthy tones - it's something that always draws my eye to your submissions (I saw tan, brown, and green and thought this was yours, afterall).
The perspective really is great - it seems so real. The patterns and textures you've used fit perfectly - I'm especially lovin' those pillows.

Great colours, you manged to create an artwork that is sad, soothing and hopeful at the same time. I also like to imagine that she's drinking some scented tea. Weird, right?
