This wallpaper was originally made on 16th July 2008 for my 1st anniversary on AnimePaper, the first anime art site I
joined. Now 9 years later I redesigned the wallpaper anew for the exact same date, to celebrate the 10th anniversary and
to show my increased skills. Though AnimePaper doesn't exists anymore, it was still a milestone which started my
anime art career. Some days later I also joined Minitokyo (19.7.) and DeviantArt (7.8.). So I annouce a celebration of
this event and to show my graditude to my fans several art pieces will be submitted eventually during this timeline.
I'm also happy for the fact that I managed to put another old wallpaper to the widescreen category from the now
pretty much unusable 4:3 aspect. But dang, it takes so much work to redo those.
HOLY CRAP, IT'S ALREADY A DECADE?
GENERAL CHANGES:
- Aspect has been changed from 4:3 to 16:10 widescreen
- Resolution of the workfile has been changed from 2048x1536 to 4000x2500
- Characters are now completly revectored, slightly extended with changed outlining
- Gradients and various effects are used now instead simple color overlays
- Colors are now much more saturated and better toned
- The output file is now in 4k (3840x2400)
CHARACTER CHANGES:
- Since 16:10 has more space to move, characters have been pulled further from each other
- Piyoko has slightly redesigned clothing
- Ryk and Ky now have just so detailed eyes as the others
BACKGROUND CHANGES:
- Added a white fence
- Removed text from the golden orb
- Clouds are now more cartoonish
- 4 different confetti colors instead the original 3
