Entry # 7 of Which?waller round 6.
I've never seen this series, have no idea what it's about ^^;;; But I was searching for a schoolgirl scan, and found this one, and decided I liked the pose. Too lazy to vector it, so just extracted the scan.
I was gonna put her on a cherry blossom path to school at first, but then the school environment wouldn't be obvious. So I found this screencap from Hikaru no Go, during the graduation ceremony, where there were cherry blossoms everywhere XD... Vectored the screencap and painted it. I have to say, the guidelines in PSP were really useful XD (first time I actually used it).
Then painted the cherry trees in PS Elements, using this brush and this brush. First time I really tried to paint cherry blossoms. It was... interesting XD
Lastly, added floating petals with this brush, and texture from DA.
I had hoped this one wasn't obvious, since I tried to do new things ^^;;;

Wow, another one I love ^^ The girl is extracted well, the background with the sakuras is gorgeous, and the texture is a perfect touch. You're right, it's different...I would have guessed the other 2 were yours but not this one :P
