Well, last night I was deciding which project I should work on...but all the things I should be working on all looked like too much right now. Since I've been working hard for the last week I decided to take a break and just choose something really simple. And so I bring you Sotto ~Smile~ (sotto means softly).
I looove vectoring pics that aren't common, and I don't think many people know this pic. Sakura looks so kawaii~ (I have a lot of uncommon Naruto pics I want to vector...). Now look at my source image:
It's small, bad colour, all that...no big deal, I've done it before. But I think this is my first time vectoring a pic with bad perspective XD Since it's just a photo of a picture lying on a bed.
Well, perspective aside...sometimes when I vector a really simple pic, I decide to do something to make it a bit different. So when making this vector I used the theme of softness. That's why the colours are lighter and less saturated than usual. I wanted it to look like there was a soft light on her, making her glow a bit...I also made the outlines soft, everything soft...so yeah, hopefully it looks soft XD
Original pic didn't have any highlights or anything, so I added in my own to give it a bit more detail.
So yep, simple, soft, and pink ^^ That's all~

wow! when I saw the original scan I was really amazed. I've done many vectors from small and low quality imgs but never did one lying on a bed.
