Witness, the first Miggy widescreen wall. I bet you thought I'd stop making these, didn't you? D: I can tell you I'll never stop, because Miggy is one of the best artists available on MT. If you don't know him/her yet go to the Miggy gallery right now!

This time I made a completely different approach at the vector, I used lots of textures and patterns on my earlier walls so this time I wanted to retain the watercolored style of the original. I tried to use transparent layers to give it a watercolored look, actually I'm quite happy with the outcome but be sure to tell me which style you like better. I just noticed after finishing that I totally screwed up the perspective T_T, please be nice and overlook that, ok? My scan extension isn't that great either but I still like this wallie. Seems like ages since I made my last one, I think it's almost half a year back D: (What about getting the results for that contest anyways? My peeled eyes are going to die soon. >_<).

Hope I can spread the love for Miggy's art with this wallie, I can only advise you to try and make one yourself because it makes one so very happy. Furthermore DREAM was kind enough to upload some more of his Miggy scans so there's plenty of material.

Scan is: Angels looking down from above
Textures and patterns from Hybrid Genesis and Dioma@Deviantart

Other resolutions: 1600x1200 | 1280x1024

I want whatever that green haired person is holding,
it's too cute. Nice vectoring, I like thats it's wobbly
and uneven...it is meant to be that way right?
Love the background, warm feeling and cute.

this is SO cute! I like how you expended the scenery, it captures a more magnificent and heavenly feeling for the viewers so we know how they feel while looking over this great vase of clouds and the curvature of the earth. Very beautifully done with the soft tones.

This has a really dreamy atmosphere to it. It's like something out of a fairytale book!

beautiful -- my favourite Miggy works can be found in robot super color comic volume 1.

perspective looks fine; a very minor crit is that i wish the birds in the background were painted a little more randomly and spaced out versus being clustered tightly together.

Yay for Miggy! I really enjoyed how you worked with the vector and painting. I love the whole pastel colours, they're just fit the fairytale-like theme. You're right with your sense of perspective here. I realized when I compared it with the original scan. But however, the flat transformation was actually flawless if I didn't notice the scan, lol. Great job as always!

Great work. I like that kind of lineart. It gives the wallpaper kind of a storybook-like feel. And the little city looks really cool. Love everything about this wallpaper, excellent job! :)

I love when you vector Miggy. <3
I love the soft colors and the uneven vectored edges. It's nice.

Not a bad job on the scan, considering how hard a Miggy scan must be to extract :). I think perspective is okay, in the sense that maybe they're looking through a window or something, and it appears a bit flat... Ahah joking, it's really a nice wall, the color theme is great, and the scan work is awesome (just a tiny detail, the guy's fingers... could use a little work).

    Thumbs up :D
