This drawing tells the story of a magic trick performed by a child. His trick is being able to bring story books to life that are close to his heart.

Lately I've got a lot going on and don't have time to do much personal drawings. I'm going to miss them when I actually get a job T_T *can imagine myself doing random doodles even at work*

chubbykitty never fails to impress with her quirky compositions and flawless lineart. Both playful and thought-provoking, the colors and overall concept really draw the viewer into the piece and showcase chubbykitty's high level of talent. It is definitely worth the credits for a full-view!

a story town pic -it looks great - i love how you did his body the paper as well as the use of colours.

Wow! O.O This doujinshi is excellent!

This is... fantastic! The emotions and feelings it expresses is mind blowing.
The choice of colors is gorgeous.
I don't know what else to say..... it's just so awesome. o:

It's soo cute!
I love it! ^_^

I really like this one...
My favorite part has to be the hat though,
really cute. :) Good job.

The guy kinda reminds me of Light form Death Note. :)

As for the doujin, excellent work once again!

Very lovely composition.

Ha! I checked the Indy Art section today (lol, for once!) and I knew this was yours~

Why are you so awesome? Can I have your imagination/creativity/drawing skills/hands?
I really love this guy's face *_* His eyes are so cool! The idea is great and the lineart looks fab. I wants his hat D:

Excellent job!

Nice work...this is a really interesting drawing...the details on it are amazing...I like it very much :D

Stunning details. Great colours.

I simply love your work, hope to see more soon!

Impressive!

Pretty as always I love the colours and neat lineart. :3

Loving the simplicity yet rather detailed look of this doujinshi! It really does look like it came out from a young boy's imagination, what with the colourful streamers and beads, the blockish, collage-like street and yup, that awesome, checkered Magician's hat! ^.^

There is such a soulfulness and innocence in his expression and eyes.. Something about this reminds me of D Gray Man's Allen.. I think that it is because of his pose. And the pentacle (albeit on a different side). And I think I have seen a manga page with the houses like that.. Well, I I am currently a fan of D Gray Man and besides, even if I wasn't, I would still fall in love with this art simply because it is so good.

I like the abstract details like the sheafs of papers that make it look like his body is metamorphosing into.. and the crumpling parchment as well as those lines that make me think of music bars for some reason. :) Oh and how the clocks dangling from his hat, show different times. Could it be to show that when you are reading your favourite books, totally engrossed, time is of no real relevance? Or am I over-analysing again.. I think I am..

Wonderful lineart (love his hand! ^_^ ) and textures, creative concept, great mood-setting... Yes, this deserves its highlight! And my fave!

Oh and forgot to say, that the perspective is absolutely cool, with the diminishing, windy road, and the roundish, stretched look of the buildings, and the cards fanning out around the prodigy! Okay, that's it, I think! Thanks for sharing your lovely work!

You know, I haven't entered minitokyo in a long time. Anyway, I got in today and browsing through some pages I say this drawing and I HAD to see it. It one of the most unique drawings I've seen this week. ^_^ Even the meaning it has is beautiful. It reminds me of my childhood. I always wanted to bring the stories my mom used to read me to life using this piece of wood that I carved like a wand. Great work... =]

everything was already said, so i'll keep it short
great job on the concept and coloring. even tough its abstract-ish, everything its in its place finalizing the work with the harmony it should have

simply amazing *-*

Awesome!

i thought it's 'she'
i like what you did with his 'body' and hand
