I've always wanted to use these scans somehow. I've had the Tohru scan saved on my comp forever and the other scan I saw a couple days back and really wanted to use it. (I mean come on, its got kitty ears, I should have made him chubby..jk xD) And since I don't really vector scans (unless it's a wallpaper) I didn't really have any use for them. But thanks to Vectory's contest I was able to :D I knew about the contest a while back, but was too busy to create anything..but now that's schools over I decided to use the scans and submit an entry :3
It would have been funny if I actually used a manly guy for this but the guy I used is really adorable and looks like a girl anyway D: Some people probably won't read this and think it's a girl :\
This is a great project and it really helps fuel creativity when your vectoring. A fun project, so thanks Vectory :)
*lol the title* I was drinking cocoa when I made this cause I'm sick. That's kinda why the colors are brownish...yeah..yum...

My god, I think your vector is so much more awesome than the original scan of the body, the colours look way better together in your version. I also think the head you put in looks better than the original one (giant glasses and cat-ears is a little too much for me), probably also because he looks girly enough as you mentioned.
Great work you took those scans and somehow gave them "your" look. -
