This is a wallpaper for our newest FF site, finalfantasyxiii.net. Me and some friends from KHInsider are pulling together to build this website. *so fun* We've almost had 100k hits for our first week. It's really exciting xD I'm a part of the graphics team and it's a great opportunity so I can keep on my toes with creating new graphics. Since school is out now and everything I have a lot of time to improve before I go to my art college *_* Ah and this wallpaper isn't on the website yet. It will be soon though. Graphic updates are every Friday :D
Anyway, the wallpaper features Lightning from Final Fantasy XIII. The scan is from here. :) This took about 3 days. I was really busy and since I'm supposed to make graphics on a weekly basis, it had to be done fairly quickly. It being the last week of school, it was hard to squeeze time, but I'm glad it's finished and I like the final product :)
Side junk: One of my vectors got placed in our yearbook with it's own page ToT It's so neat!

Awesome work. Great textures and I like the gradient on your lineart. Your added elements look great too and you integrated the text really well with that additional swirl.

This.... is..... awesome! You lined this from a 3D render, right? Amazing. This is probably the best Final Fantasy wallpaper I've seen. Ooooh, you know what would be awesome? A Versus XIII wallpaper done in a similar style. :nya:
