Wow, I just realized it has been a very long time since I posted a Bleach wallpaper...to tell you the truth, I am waaaaay behind in the episodes...But, since I got laid off from my job, I decided to catch up on them recently. he "Bounto" arc almost made me leave the series behind entirely because I really thought it was boring (even if Kariya, the main villian of this arc was voiced by the same voice actor who voiced Roy Mustang of FMA in the anime...but anyway).
The original scan of used for this wall can be found here: http://www.animepaper.net/gallery/scans/Bleach/item179919/ I really liked when I first saw it and I thought it would make a cool vector, so I traced it. The original scan didn't show all of Ichigo's hand and a part of Zangetsu was missing, so I finished him off and added a few details to him. I realized when I finished tracing and coloring it that Ichigo's red strap was missing, but, oh well, I like the picture better without it anyway.
As for the background, I wanted Ichigo to really blend in with the it using the color of his clothing, I wanted a grunge background, but I didn't want it to take up the whole space, so by playing around with gradients, I came up with the final result you have here.
Oh, and the quote I used is from me, is just popped in my head when I was
finalizing everything and I like it a lot so I used it.
