Wow, didn't take me long to submit another wallpaper!~ 
This is my indoor entry for 
's blood-themed contest.
I decided to vector in the style of my other entry.... because it kinda worked
out well. You know, the whole heavy black shadowy-ness, and tons of textures.
I went easy on the blood again to contrast the gore of the movie (lotsa blood in
that movie, yessir).
I decided to do a Jin-Roh wallpaper, because A.) it's a pretty good movie, and
B.) the Protect-Gear armor looks pretty badass. The name "Feeding
Frenzy" is a play on the fact that the members of the Wolf Brigade consider
themselves wolves in mens' costumes. So, I was thinking that maybe a firefight
was like some sort of hunting ritual for them to quench their thirst for blood!
So yeah, it basically came from the whole idea that a pack of wolves would go
hunting then have a big ol' dinner (yay!), and stuff themselves. It's kinda...
metaphorical. 
The scan that I used was not actually a scan, but more of a screen-cap of the
official website (poor quality image though). It was super easy to line and
vector. Most of the time spent on the wall was applying textures and whatnot.
It's not as good as my previous entry, but I'm happy with the outcome. Oh, and I
was meaning to add text to where all that black is, but it just didn't look
nice. So I just left all the black.... there. For one thing, it adds more
mystery to their surroundings (which is a sewer btw), and it's also a nice
little spot to keep all your desktop icons.

Pretty good wall. It captures the mood pretty well. I like it.
To be sincere, I'm really surprised to see there are still some artists that remember the good old classics like Jin-Roh, it really fills me with joy to know that this masterpieces of anime still echoes in those days.
Really good work! You managed to capture very well the dark esence that sorround this movie with this simple, yet very deep wall. I truly liked the blood detail, it fits very well in the atmosphere created by the dark BG and the special wolf brigade's armor.
What more can I say. Congratulations, I really enjoy you work with this Wall and your other creations, really like your style. Please, keep up the good work. ^^

This is the most original wallpaper I've seen in the latest weeks.
It does not feature any super good looking and popular anime character, it's not about shining sun and happiness and it certainly excludes fan-girlism.

I think your texturing for this one is really good, the vectoring as well. The shadows make it look even more ominous.
