Hello everyone!
This is a very special wallpaper for two reasons:
1st: it's a gift for Kashi-chan. She helped me a
lot with my userpage and with French X3 Kashi-chan is a great friend who won't turn you down when you need her.

2nd: this is the very first Lamento wallpaper on MT <3
I used this scan. Thank you Saikusa for posting it.
Polka dots ftw!
I loved the idea of multiple colored outlines and shadows with dots.
I vectored the image and this is what I got...
If you don't know what Lamento is and you're a yaoi fan, you just wasted 2 years of your life. Lamento is a hardcore boy love game, released in 2006 by our almighty Nitro+. Containing mostly of cat boys, sword fighting and smex, Lamento is a delight for every fan-girl.
I went for the funky look, since Kashi-chan likes it, and I found the perfect scan to go with it. I know I overused
textures... but I like it :3
I used an earth texture for the noise effect and paper texture.
If anyone knows when/if Lamento will be translated from Japanese please allow me to witness the date. I really wanna play it =_=

I really like the cigarette version, there's something about it I like a little better than the more simple one. Great vector, it really looks funky I think and as a fellow texture abuser of course I love the textures too.

Personally, I like the cigarette-town version, but they're both very good. The spotted effect is cute & adds a little pop-art tough to it. Nice stuff & I'm glad to see one of my cuter scans put to use.

The cigarette version is awesome and I totally put it on my desktop, but both versions are great. The colours are fabulous, the patterns and textures fit perfectly, I totally adore this wallpaper.
