I posted this one in AP about a week ago and i've been meaning to post it here earlier, but i had some problems
getting in MT. >_>
Anyway here's another painted style wallpaper from me. ;D This one was made from a pretty scan of Howl and Sophie
that i found in the Adumi Tohru gallery.
Walling Process
This wallpaper is a scan extension from the original scan. I painted the background and tried to imitate it as closely
as i could. Then i worked on smoothing out the scan by using the usual smudge technique to give it that smooth painted
feel. Then i added in the text. I made the text by using a simple font, and then i added the flowers and make it look
like it's merged in with the text. Then the opacity of the text was lowered to blend in better with the
background.

working on the wallpaper. Although not all of it worked out as planned, im still quite happy with how it ended up.

oh such a long and detailed description.man! i love all adumi tohru artworks and you
did a great job imitating the original scan
background and extending it. Nice job! it is
almost the same as the original background.
The colors you use is great as ever and the
painty style really fits the scan. The text you
use is one of the best part! i love the font
and the added flowers you use. Overall
great job for the wallie plus the widescreen
versions!
