I got this idea while looking through a 3D Studio Max guidebook. The basic idea was to make a reconstruction of the lighthouse in the first Silent Hill game. So I asked my friend nixan to make a stairway I saw in the book. At the time he was working on a fire-effect which he showed me. I then evolved the idea and used a customized vesion of the effect. In the end, it doesn't look like the lighthouse at all, but I'm still happy with the results :)
This is how the wallpaper should have looked like, but I thought that it didn't look quite right......can't put my finger on what it was........... XD
Anyways....here comes the technical details:

Scansource: Silent Hill 3 Press release-material disc (will post scans soon

Only one favorite? I think somehing is wrong with that. +fav from me, cause this just plain rocks.
The fire, the stairway, the stock photo, and the brushing. All godly if you ask me.
