Everything started from this picture: a dream of a
Flower
The hardest part to vector was the flower bed. It took a lot to make the outlines of the flowers and they're still quite
messy (as in the original).
I find a dead-looking girl sleeping on a bed of withered flowers quite creepy... especially since she's practically
floating.
I used a few drops of blood. The one on her hand and one on a spike (although it's not visible). More would've ruined
part of her grace; loads of blood and frail girls kinda look barbaric.
The background is weird. A cathedral surrounded by dark houses makes the perfect set-up for a vampire attack.
At first I made to flowers' outlines white and the flowers black. It was a bit too sharp to look at, so I switched the
initial white with dark red.
Overall, the wallpaper was difficult to make, but I'm pleased with the outcome.

Very impressive vector. I love how it looks with the lack of shading and the contrast with black. The cathedral background is kinda odd if you see it in a scenic way though, you could've changed it to something else to match the position of the girl.

interesting choice of color for the background, very dark and mysterious. great job on the details of the background, especially the flower, that must took forever. Her eyes look as if she's possessed, but it is filled with such sorrow. very well done wall. love the touch of blood running down her delicate hand.

Fantastic vectoring as everybody has already pointed out. The bg is awesome and the use of textures is fantastic. I'm not entirely sure if I agree with Yoru that this is too bright on the character, but oh well...

I agree with this, I don't think it's too bright, so...yeah. Forgot to mention, the colors you picked and the perpective of the background makes this even more interesting!

I like it. The background gives it a gothic sort of mysterious look. Very nice, even the choice in colors aids that image.

So grudgy and dark yet cute at the same time.
The rose add a nice touch to the kind of melodramatic mood. But she looks so sad.

your vector very good and amazing, it's BG totally reflect with tonal distribution concentrated towards shadow. It's really amazing you can imagine something like that, especialy for bloods. Good work!

Agreed with saikusa. You are definitely improving. I think it may look better if the gradient was applied to everything instead of just the character and that one odd spot in the background, though. :) Just my thoughts, though.

I love the color of her clothes~ it really brings out that mysterious/thrilling air of the picture~ and the not-so-flat lighting strikes me dumb.. great wallie~ ^_^
