this one was done in april, as can be seen from the old sig. it had a pretty quiet reception on AP, probably because of non-eye-catchiness. or maybe i'm just not meant for this type of vectoring? dunno. anyway, it was a speed vector (no, seriously, i finished it in a single sitting one morning...although it went through a lot of tweaking afterwards). the bg is abstract vectoring with a paint-over. simple. now the text...that was actually the hardest part. it's needed compositionally, but aesthetically, i'm still not 100% satisfied with its design. >__<

Lost of walls on AP are overlooked and
not treated with much attention, even for great artist
like yourself.
I love the hair and eye, it mostly stands out to
me when I full viewed and I didn't even notice the
tear coming down as well - which is very nicely done.

Wow speed vector? looks well composed for a
speedy one, great job on it.

The bg I think goes great with it, depressing
and low colors bring out the vector more and
the expression stays within it. The swirls are really
cool and add a lifting feel to it, almost like ups and downs.

and great text job, all together it's worth the full view.

HA!
If this is your speed vectoring, your detailed one must be out of this world!
I never tried this type of vector (vexel?), it's really complicated and it requires a lot of patience.
You're right about it being non-catchy, but I'm happy that I saw this. (miracles of watchlist XD)

What a lovely vector. You have a real talent. Keep it up! :D
