Whew, my very first attempt at vector tracing. As I had never tried making any
kind of vector art before, I wanted to start with something relatively simple
but still fun, and I thought this picture would be perfect. It was fun, but because I was teaching myself how
to use the pen tool as I went (I can't believe I've been using Photoshop for as
long as I have and never learned how to use the pen tool *smacks head*), the
orrigional Photoshop file has far more
layers than nescessary; over 80, I think. For whatever reason it never occured
to me that most things of the same color could be part of the same layer... 
I played arond with the colors a bit (Kurogane's skin tone, in particular), and
wussed out on the shading (actually, I started some of the shading, but then I
decided I liked it better like this), and descovered that Fay's hair is
ridiculously complicated. As clumsy as the making of it was, I think the
finished product came out pretty nicely.
