Yay! A wallpaper that isn't from a CLAMP series! Do I even remember how to do those anymore? And it's not vectored, either. <_<

Here are the stats:
-----------------------

Time: Of and on working for two weeks
Layers: 36 (the final count after merging several)
Hardest Part: Making the wall match the scan

I don't particularly like or hate Sialeeds, but I fell in love with this scan. The idea for this came directly from the game Suikoden 5 and the Twilight Rune (I keep trying to call it the "Dusk" Rune, You know, "Dawn"... "Dusk".. I wonder why they didn't go with that word instead). And Dusk is actually the name of a painting that you get in the ruins related to this rune... Anyways, the glowing symbol in the stained glass is the Twilight Rune which Sialeeds carries on her left hand, hence the reason that hand is glowing. The wallpaper is pretty much good old fashioned photo-manipulation and filtering/painting/overall tweaking to make everything fit together and not clash. I had to paint more of her sleeve on the bottom left side & finish the section of the pattern to make it fall to the bottom of the wallpaper. The overlaying texture was used to give it a bit of an aged feeling as well. I will probably think of everything I really wanted to say after this is submitted, so I'll just stop for now.

Edit: I went back and got rid of the pink in Sialeeds hair because it was driving me crazy. Now it's all silver/violet.

Amazing wall dear, I love the colors and the general impression is really good. The girl is really beautiful and you have used a lot of different techniques. Nice combination you got the match ;)

This wallpaper is really something! I find it really well done~
You are right..the colors does give an "ancient..well rune-ish!" feeling into it and its the first thing that popped into my head. I love the light effect that you have there on the window..it really pops out. What i love about this wallie..is the dust-sand that is floating around in the air! The colors on her dress is lovely ^^ the sleve is well painted. There's something special floating around the girl and i cant really describe it! But all i can say ius that im not really good in words but i want you to know that this is the first time i see such a wallpaper that has a rune feeling in it! (hahaha always the colors job to give us this feeling) anyways! Keep it up! your doing a great job^^
