Additional res as always at pixel ellipsis!
GAWRAWRAWR delayed the wall release to fix pixel ellipsis, which was a nightmare and a half. I think it's ok now though, keep your fingers crossed. Meanwhile the Nodame love continues! Plus, promo for Moar Plz - check it out!
The scan that I painted this wall off of was from Nodame's first recital, where she was playing Ravel's Jeux Deau. Love at first sight led to this wall... and also the restyling of my desktop, thanks to Gids and Styler I switched to a light theme after years of Glitch (Black). As a result my color palette completely changed to match my new theme... haha I love how this wall came out color-wise xD
Outlines from this scan, everything else essentially from scratch, painted with my trusty mouse < 3 I overlaid some vector shapes set at very low opacity over some of the waves to make some of the edges a bit more defined. Then I recycled a mud texture from resurgere for background overlay - definitely one of my favorite textures ever :D

Interesting composition, although the wallpaper itself is a little too blue for my taste. Why isn't the sky green? Why?!?
Anyway, looking forward to more Nodame Cantabile wallapers! -

Lol, how bad is it that I thought this was a guy in the Moar Plz! banner? XD Nodame does look sort of boyish at times though, in my defense! D:! I really love the colors on this one, I think I might make it my new work background as it is so soothing to look at. And thanks for the mud textures link, I'm gonna have to continue to steal all your textures. XD
