This is for a doujinshi contest the DGray-Man Black Fighters Group are
currently having. With the theme "Rising of the Noahs"

This is the first doujinshi that I've really attempted, so it took quite a bit
of time to try to figure out what exactly I wanted to do. I lost track of hours
as it's been about a month in the works but, well over 100 hours and about 75+
layers.
With the theme in my mind, I chose Tyki Mikk for my noah, and tried (not too well, I may add) to portray, an alternate type Tyki universe where he was unleashing his "Pets" to start going forth and doing his bidding.
Everything has been totally vectored with the exception of the moon and clouds which were brushes.

Very very nice! I really like the feel of it ^^ Normally i'd say that mixing brushes into a fully (for the most part) vectored piece to be a bit of a mismatch as things will have trouble matching up nicley.
HOWEVER this time it's different. The brushes and the vector meld nicley together so i can only crit one thing and one thing only. That being the marble floor which i feel is too bright for a nightime setting if that could be made darker then i would say this is perfect! I wish you luck on the contest and i hope you win.
Gonna fav this one too while i'm at it too.

But if you want to enter this, you should put the drawing not the wallpaper because its a doujinshin competition not a wallpaper competition.

Great tip Rayl, I will actually do that! I wasn't too happy with how it turned out, it seemed something was off, and now I can see that would be a good touch up on it. Now that I realize it as well, one of the pillars (right) should actually have the shadow casted over that direction from the moon as well. (I had the moon centered between the pillars at first, but it seemed to have too much activity there so slid it over).
Sorry about the upload blunder Tenmarigenius. I couldn't find where doujinshi was on the list when uploading it. I've searched all morning and think I've finally discovered it, though. When I make the adjustments and add it officially to the contest, I'll try that (doujinshin work in the D's?). Also not sure if it's just me on my end, but my banner links don't seem to work.

Much better now that you've fixed that little problem! It doesn't look like invisible lights are keeping the floor overly bright anymore =D
