I bet most of you don't know the guy so I'll make the introductions.
He's the main character of the anime Mononoke, but he's also a character from Ayakashi, he appeared in the last three episodes. He had a great success so the producers made an anime just for him. His name isn't mentioned, he always introduces himself as a simple Medicine Seller. He's a skilled exorcist that kills spirits releasing a sword. The anime has a funny texture on the screen ^_^'

I translated the text on the vector in the title.
It was really hard to complete since I decided to make the many outlines in different colors. The coloring went smooth, but I lost some time on the swirl-like things on his ribbon. I tried to make the textures as in the original picture, but I couldn't find the exact same things, so I improvised. I also didn't put the textures that were on his clothes because they don't exist in the anime and I wanted to make him look close to reality.
As you can see the guy is almost shadowless. In Mononoke he has no shadows on him at all, no one has, it's their style; the creators concentrated their attention on backgrounds/clothing.
I forgot his lipstick >.<

    Kyaa! Finally some Mononoke and the Medicine Seller looks soo good here! (I've been hunting for the series quite a long time before I finally found it and it's amazing!)
    Waai~ no lipstick hurts - but since I should concentrate on other things I won't make a big fuss about it XD Nice work on the colours. I understand that you didn't make the textures 'cause they're not in the anime, but he also doesn't have those clouds in the green parts in the anime ( I love them though XD) so you're being inconsistent XD

    I love that you chose Mononoke, so this is an instant fave plus the vector is of really high quality XD (you made it look soo good) I always wanted to vector smthng from Mononoke, but I was afraid I would ruin the art style... thank God you made this wonderful piece XD

    I've lost track of some of the previous Mononoke scans, but I've been waiting for more material (that doesn't come from a blacklisted site) before I create a gallery for this series. It's an incredibly beautifully crafted series, and you've done it justice with your vector. Not an easy piece to tackle, but you've done it well.

    Woah! It's kusuriuri-san! The sexiest and most charming man alive! (sakurai~~~). I've also wanted to vector him before, but just like Kashi said, I'm also afraid to ruin the original styles. But! You did a great job here! I love everything about it! but it's seems like.. less texture, right? But oh well! I'm not complaining! Coz it's kusuriuri-san!

    this is very gorgeous. I just adore the different colors of his outfit, very beautifully done. i like the flow of the fabric as well. great job on this vector!

    He has Sakurai's voice!? o_0 Then I need to watch this anime >_<
    I've seen this guy in magazines and AMVs, I was planning to watch this anime because it has a nice song~ =3 And it also has a unique art~ :nya:
    Your vector is really perfect. It's exactly the same as the original!~ Awesome Job! You should wall it with this unique style too~ XD
