Hey!~ Your drawings are all so awesome! It's so detailed and perfect! *_*
Shuurei and Ryuuki is so cute together =3
Now it makes me wanna steal your drawing X-P jk~
Bu anyways, it's really good. You have and amazing art talent~ ^^

You certainly are talented! I like the details and colours...Thee is a very nice sheen on their hair and Shuurei's robes and headdress are very orientally detailed at the top. The two mice are cute hanging about the cherry tree....oh wait did you take "cherry blossom" and made it "cherry and blossom"...maybe cherry trees really do put out flowers, I don't know; there aren't any around here...

As much as I like your style, I have to complain about how grainy it can look sometimes. Gomen! But is this because you had problems scanning it? (If it is, I totally understand; I don't have a scanner so I had to pass my drawings to a friend to scan and they came back so messed-up, I dare not post them on Minitokyo...sob. So many of my textures and lines went missing...)

Or is it because you are using waxy colour pencils? They are good for Shuurei's headdress, sleeves, hair and the red part of the robe as well as those leaves on Ryuuki and his front locks...but overall, I feel that there's a bit too much texture...It's okay for some of the other pieces you have done but for some... Maybe get some less waxy pencils and mix the two medias? Might be interesting....

Really sorry if I offended you! I can get fussy...even though I'm not that great myself...but this work is lovely! So don't be discouraged!

Thank you so much, don't worry, I like your critique, it's very constructive & will help me make better in future ^^.
Maybe cuz this time I change the scanner, for this piece I scan it with my friend scanner, usually I scan it with my brother scanner, but my brother take the scanner to his apartment now, so I ask my friend to scan it for me, this piece is certainly look very grainy compared to my other drawing. >_<.
As for colour pencil, I don't know for sure, I always use Faber Castell water colour pencil for my colouring, is it waxy or not?

Oh good, that's a relief; I'm not hurting anyone. Yup, scanning can be a pain; but I think there are tutorials out there for cleaning up scans and all that... I never really checked though...I know one of the mods or elites have a tutorial like that on their userpage...sorry, this doesn't absolutely help, right?

Faber Castell...nope it's isn't really waxy. I have used them before and yes, they're very nice to colour clothes then apply water. ^.^ I have to admire how you controlled the 'painting' of the faces..that's one thing I never quite got the hang of. I made a little fantasy landscape with them though and I quite liked how all the shades of green and blue glowed with the small lights I drew in... I used a 12 colour box but I could make lots of lovely colours out of them. :) Brings back good memories...

By the way, most people quote the message then reply it on the commenter's guestbook. Maybe you're just being careful but I think I should tell you anyway.

Well, hope that interested you at least.

it's a nice pic. the crease of the clothes are very natural and real. yet i think that it would be even more beautiful if you slightly outline the stuff. just a stupid comment of my own, hope you won't mind
