I'm going to go with the expected, "OMG, it's Celebi!" Gosh, it's been a long time since I saw a decent Pokemon wallpaper. The time portal idea fits and I'm no waller, but the filtered background looks good! :)

I don't know if anyone still appreciate this kind of wallpapers anymore. I wanted to go back to that era where filtered background was among the popular styles, and to learn more about it. But well, we can't go back to the past, nor towards the future. Time keeps moving and the only thing we would do is just to learn from our mistakes.
Celebi is one of my favourite Pokemons, I don't know if I will wall the others cause inspiration is hard to get. He's a Time Traveller, so basically, my idea was to put him crossing a kind of imaginary portal, and clock is the best element I would put. The filter-y background was made with paint brush, smudge tool and of course, filters. It's fun and hard at the same time to use filters. I originally intended to use Apophysis but then gave up since I don't know how it works >_> Celebi was vectored and painted from this image. Clock was vectored and extended abit (sort of like spider web) from this photo. Special thanks to CSP at stock.xchng for the amazing texture. I also added Tama's clock texture to make it blends more with the concept, and brown splatter texture as well. The filter-y style was inspired from MapleRose's apophysis art. Text was intentional, since I wanted to try that "old" style again. If at least 5 people say I should kill it, then I will (probably). =D
