Well it's been over a year since I've submitted anything but then I started working on this and I sort of got completely into it. Heh... T_T
Anyway this was traced from this scan: Rurouni

I fell in love with the scan. It's the first time I've seen Kenshin looking badass and bishie at the same
time! *swoon* XD
But I didn't quite like the colours or the brightness of the scan so that's mostly why I started working on
this.
Finishing all the shapelayers this time took forever. And it was a real pain in the a** too. But I finished it in two days. Mostly because I didn't sleep much. I know I have to finish it in vert short time because if I leave it for more than a day that day usually turn into months, or worse, it never gets finished!
When all the shapelayers were done I had some fun with gradients and patterns. Especially gradients give a lot of
dynamic to the picture. Why didn't I think of that before! :x
For those who don't read kanji the kanji in the left upper corner is "Oni" which means Demon.
Edit: The texture doesn't really come out so I enhanced that and softened up a few places because I felt they were too sharp.

I was un love with that scan too and wanted to vector it, but afterwards I couldn't because of my lack of time. Ontoni arigatou for walling it ^^ It's gorgeous and surely mine wouldn't be so perfect ^^
