Oh wow, MT garbled my copy and paste D:

So, my second attempt at a vector, and my first attempt with varying line width and gradients. That said, I was conservative with my playing with the lines because I dont really have a feel for where the lines should be thicker and where they should not, so to avoid ending up with a terrible result because of my inexperience I think its best I take it easy for now.
Ive always liked this image of Renge, and I spent ages looking around because I cant believe no one else has vectored it yet, though that may well be the fan in me coming out. The only parts that really got me stuck this time around were the eyes (again) and her right hand, which looked as though it had been slammed in a car door a few times when I first did the outline for it. I agonised over it, but in the end this was the best I could get it D:. The widescreen version looked a bit empty on the left side so I threw in some flowers that I managed to fumble together.
I have no idea what is coming up next, I might stick to doing older images that are unlikely to get the attention of other vector artists, but who knows what will catch my eye next. Feel free to remind me how terrible I am (PNG and Widescreen versions also available at my blag).
