Artist Comment
After months of non-walling, im back and with a new wall from Final Fantasy 13. Gah this bishie is so hot and such a perfect eye candy. <3 His name is Noctis btw. But people usually call him Noct or Nocto. ;D
Walling Process:
I took the basic idea from this screenshot which i took myself from the game
trailer, and mixed it in together with this scan. As you can see, the
screenshot is super blurry. @__@ So i painted most of it. The scene is'nt exactly the same as the one in the screenshot.
Well i don't think there's a need for it to be the same, so i tried something simpler with only a part of the background
shown. The scan on the other hand, had only a small part of the chair/throne shown, so i decided to extend it a little
(you'll know what i mean if you compare the original scan with the wall i made). Besides that, i also used the smudge
tool on a low opacity and smudged all over the scan to give it a smoother look. ;D Some lighting & shading was added
on next, and some specs of dust/shiny dots falling down from above was added. Lastly i did the text. Based on the
comments i had at AP, a couple of them preferred the non text version. So i uploaded that one here. But if you want
text, you can get other versions of the wall with simple text and the glowy text version.

Like the wall, Seeing the other male leads in the series having their names related to weather or the sky(Cloud,Squall,Tidus) this one might have something like that too

*gasp* Such quality! Awesome painting :) Although the poles on the side of the throne, look a little off compared to other parts of the wall; they look more vectored than painted. I would've preferred them them to be like the screenshot - glowing, like the neon-like lights on the sides of the wallpaper. The background could use a bit more depth/detial though too - not 3D enough?
Overall, I think this looks great :) Keep it up!
