I still don't think this should turn out like this 
BUT the contest rules did mention not re-CGing = no vectoring! *dies* 
On
the other hand, I'm glad I wasn't forced to finish the other Carnelian vector
wall I've been forcing myself to finish the last month

didn't want to submit it yesterday because I thought it wasn't good enough and I
could come up with some better idea. Obviously, I couldn't, so here it
is.
Anyway, this description has been about everything but the wall itself, so back
to the wall. The background wasn't supposed to be like this at all (well, except
the tree in the front). I originally drew it by hand and wanted to paint over
it. You can see it here
and after you stop laughing, I'll say that's the best tree I've drawn in my
entire life Not kidding, I suck at drawing trees and animals! The right side is
empty because that's where Suzuna was supposed to be (there was no point in
drawing anything there if it was going to be covered up, right?)
As you can see, it turned out crappy. Upon seeing this, I said "screw this,
I'm looking for stocks". So I did! Long time since I've used stock images
I hope they don't look too awkward. I used 2, grass and mountains, but I used the grass pic
only for the perspective reference. I made the grass using this tutorial. Thank you
for writing it ^^ I think that's the part I like most. And the light globes!
<3 Speaking of which, the story is: a girl (random) sets out on a journey to
find the mythical Golden Spheres (or whatever you want them to be), which can
grant any wish. And, well, she gets them, hence the title ^^
Yes, that dark blue thing is a lake, the trees are brushes, the tree in the
foreground is crappy, the shading on Suzuna isn't exactly correct and the globes
in her hand don't match the ones in the tree

i love the idea, but i think scan should have been cleaned a bit
and the trees look jaggy
but i like the grass
