Flowers:
they originally belong to clover from CLAMP

i just colored them with a different color because i just love orange lilis hehe
Butterfly:
since i got the idea to make this artwork i was willing to draw a really colorfull butterfly
the only problem was to find a kind of butterfly that would touch me
problem solved when i read the chapter 119 from Skip beat! by Yoshiki-sensei
(those origami butterflies were really cute XD)
The colors were base on the rainbow the black was because i just love black
(and i really think white wouldn't fit :D)
The idea and the title:
well it may sound weird but i first thought about doing something with the name artificial colors
then i remebered those flowersfrom that scan and just then i got the idea of a realy colorfull butterfly on one of the
flowers :)

Well, the idea of drawing lilies brings me old memories... the butterfly adds the delicate and beautiful touch to the
piece.
Your coloring compared to mine is God-like stuff, really nice.

Anyway, splendid coloring, especially on the wings, almost looks like a church colored glass, or a kaleidoscope. I love
the paper used with its old grainy feel, and those flowers are really well drawn (i particularly like the
'sun' in the center).
Thumbs up and fav, great composition :D
PS maybe you could have just detailed the butterfly a bit more (its body seems a bit simple) :)
will be faving this one, but I like the color renderings you did with the butterfly and flower
