Clow Reed is the creator of the Clow Crads, Yue and Kero. We get to see him in the second arch of Card Captor Sakura. There are also recurrent references to him in other works of Clamp, such as xxxHolic and Tsubasa Chronicles :)
And yup, he is truly amazing <3
