Well, I wrote out a long description but for some reason the page refreshed so I lost everything... I'll try putting what I can remember.
This was probably the hardest project I've done so far. And it was the first
time I incorporated painting for coloring. Usually I only use the pen tool to
color.. I had to paint the whole cake and all the frosting on Ayu and in the
bowl. I think it was pretty fun! 
Difficulty: Hard
Hardest Part: Cake and background
Easiest Part: Vectoring the girls (Makoto, Ayu, and Nayuki)
Modified Areas: The background is a much simpler version than the actual scan
because the original was much too hard for me to tackle...
Time: I've been working on this since the last Kanon wallpaper I submitted, but
approximately 1 bajillion hours have been put in (plus or minus a few).
And a thanks to Abul for telling me how to reduce the jaggy lines. I realize now
that you have to merge your layers before you resize...
