As "promised", the colored version of the Kagome drawing in my scraps. It's meant to be dedicated to my fanfiction (though it is actually winter once the poor girl is that far along in her pregnancy...).
I do know that Kagome has black hair: I wanted to make this drawing - especially the coloring - as light as possible (the lacking background is, however, somewhat partially also due to my absolute failure at drawing anything BG-related-__-).
The title "Unknown Lightness" is a kind of play of words, especially considering her - physical - situation; even though she is naturally not as "light" or even lithe as she usually is, the circumstances have introduced her to a completely new level of comfort and content.
(Additionally a good friend of mine having her first baby - and the amazingly serene way she and her husband deal with it - might have added their bits and pieces to my ideas).
