Happily announced Suzaku Vector Project #8! Can you believe it? I've vectored Suzaku for 8 times now! And there's no sign of stopping either. Well yeah.. I'm obsessed with him. And even more now with his new look. Kakkoi~ OX Project #9 will be this one. Actually, I've already finished with 30% of the outlines. It takes times, thanks to those three whose in the way!
Firstly, I vector Suzaku from this scan by Suemura-san. It was supposed to be an easy one, but I encounter 2 problem. The first one is the inability to export it (from Illustrator) in 150ppi. So, I had to use 72ppi instead (which a big mistake, coz the original files size I use is only 3000px). And the second one is, after opening the files in PS.. the outline turn out REALLY bad. It wasn't like that in Illustrator. I thought my mouse at fault and buy a new one, but after re-doing the outlines, it's still the same. I tried a bunch of method and almost give up when I remember that I haven't resize it. Okay, now my small vector become even smaller x_x
Well, since the vector is too small (only 2274x1000), I decided to make a wallpaper instead. But since Kit-chan already made one with the same Suzaku image, I'm kinda afraid that it might turn out similar to hers. So, I revised the original idea... and decided to add this ethereal feeling. I know it's kinda.. off with Suzaku expression, but.. oh well. It turn out pretty well, I think ;) And I managed to minimize the usage of filter & brushes too. For this one, I only use 2 brushes and 1 filter. The rest is using basic round brush and a lot of smudges! I love smudges tool! Please marry me! X-P

Great job on the vector, I think his cape is too bright
for the scene though but it's not a major thing.The bg is nice, I love the trees and the sky looks good
the water is a bit weird looking, I don't think it works with the rest
of the bg....maybe making it smoother? like the lines on the water
should be like wavey.But overall it's a job well done <3
