Love isn't something caused by arrows shot by some naked little angels, rather like a bullet fired by a seducingly dressed lady.

My wallpaper for Valentine's Day, even though it's maybe a holyday puerly invented for the sake of capitalism, who cares if it gives me an excuse to rape anime classics. Seriously I've never watched Galaxy express and if some fans think that this wallpaper totally suck's, I'm sorry, I merely did it for the enjoyment of making my own cupid.

Here's the original scan, I browsed through DREAM's gallery in search of a scan I could wall and found this and another galaxy express scan that looked rather nice, this one fit my idea best but maybe I'll turn the other one into a wallie too someday.
Vectored the scan and tried to redo her hair, which was originally merged with the background, I hope you can stand the hairdo I've given her (I know it's far from perfect). I also shortened her gun (thought a handgun may fit better) and left the knife out, the tatoo was added because... I liked it that way XD. For the background I ended up doing some art-nouveauish stuff, it was about time I hopped onto the art-nouveau train but I wonder what you think about it.
Texture's were taken from DA! everything else is my crazy mind.

Have a wonderful Valentine's Day and here's a textureless version (even though I think textured looks about a million times better).

We definitely need more GalaxyExpress999 out there. And this is an example why...
You shouldn't worry about the hairdo it's good and fits the image. Nice work with the handgun also.
I like the combination of greyish-blue with red - nice contrast working well in the wall!
    Great job!

An example of how cool a wall can be and how crappy a thumbnail can be! This wall is awesome, but the tiny thumbnail on the main page made it look like it was crayon LOL. Her hair looks awesome, no worries. Great work!

YES! :screams: A Reiji Matsumoto wall- i am so happy to see a wall of his artwork; it puzzles me to think that only 3 walls have been made of his artwork. Vectors really suit his artwork well and i love how you vectored her hair and face especially. A well-balanced "Valentines Day" wall. :) as always i love your use of patterns.

be sure to watch Galaxy Express 999 & Interstella 5555.

btw- do not worry i am working on procuring more art-books including Miggy and other great artists as promised. so try to be a little more patient. ;) i am really happy to read that you are perusing my gallery and enjoy various artists.

A great Vantine card, very pop-artish in style and colour. I think I'd love to see it with a caption (something with a 'bullet' in it) - would complete the Valentine card look and I could actually send it around.
