Long story on this one (and the other ones submitted in this KS kiddy series):
Originally scanned from the Kaleido Star Art Book 1 @ 400 DPI as a photo-board presentation as the original image (broke
the book's spine to get it flat enough). Submitted to MT, but was rejected on the basis that the individual
character components were insufficient as a resource.
Re-scanned at, would you believe, 1200 DPI! Resulting file over 8 Mb after saving as JPEG (over 116 Mb Raw)!
Went to quite a bit of effort to extract, crop, rotate and re-compose viable pictures as the original photos had overlaps and bits missing.
