*sighs* this is when I had my creativity XD.

Wow...this wallpaper came out REALLY DIFFERENT for what I was aiming for. Totally a different new style I did. Well, at first I did the wallpaper colored, instead of gray scale, but then I found this tutorial on how to make a certain section of a pic with different color so I decided to give it a try.
In order to do that though, you had to convert the whole image in grayscale, so that the particular color would pop out. This is the result, and I'm quite happy with it ^_^.
This one took a while, around 2 hours or more, I lost track of time XD. Oh yeah, and you also might notice how some parts of the anime girl are painted with purple. Look at the nails, and at the little badge, I also did the eyes but you can't see it because of the rectangular is already purple. Why purple you ask? heck, I don't know *laughs* I just picked that color and I like it ^^.
